Immigrant Storytelling Workshop: FREE 90 min workshop
September 14 @ 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The immigrant experience is unique, beautiful, and diverse with its share of joy and challenges. This 90-min in-person workshop is intended for those who identify as immigrants with the intention of creating a space where we can come together, reflect on our experiences, and share our stories. During the workshop, you will be guided through activities and reflective prompts to support you in discovering your own true stories and finding your own voice and meaning in them. You will then have the opportunity to share your story aloud (if you choose) in a compassionate and safe space. Participants may choose to share their story on stage on October 25th 2023 for our upcoming live Immigrant Stories event on the campus of Sacramento State (but this is totally optional!)
Come and learn how to tell your story!
There are two sessions. You can attend the one that suites your schedule best. To enroll, fill out the form below OR email capitalstorytelling@gmail.com
Once you enroll, we will send you info on the exact classroom where your workshop session will be! For ASL Interpretation, please enroll and let us know your needs by September 4 so that we can make the workshop as accessible as possible to you!
