Diana Medina is a first-generation Mexican-American poet and educator born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her mission in life is to use her gift with words to bring more clarity, compassion, and comic relief to the world. She believes that this is how she will leave the world better than she found it. She’s a seasoned storyteller as well as a published author, with her debut poetry collection, Healing Out Loud, published in 2020. Her work has been featured in Modern Latina Magazine and StoryCenter and she has performed her stories at Capital Storytelling and RISK. You can catch her in the Bay performing at spoken word events or on tour with her book this spring.
