One of Capital Storytelling’s missions is to foster empathy while helping people to connect to one another through stories. Our hope is to keep it accessible to individuals from all walks of life. To make it accessible, we regularly offer scholarships and special programs, and these scholarships and programs come from generous donations from community members,
What we are asking for right now: We are raising funds for our Immigrant Storytelling Program for 2023-2024. We need approximately $20,000 to run the program this year. We hope to offer 20 workshops to immigrant communities in 2023 and 2024 and we will host a live event in October of 2023 to amplify voices of immigrants.
