What do people say about this class?

The Oral Storytelling 101 Course was exactly what I needed to move forward! I have witnessed the power of storytelling, however I have so many stories to tell and would get overwhelmed with where to start and how to choose which stories to share. The course presented a process that allows the storyteller to identify one memory to work with and develop into a full story. I related this to the mindfulness practice of being present with one breath at a time and connecting with its energy and aliveness. This was magic for me!  I realized that I don’t need to try to distill my whole life into one big overall story and that I can engage in a mindful way of being with one memory and allowing that to expand into one story at a time. For me, this translates to freedom, which I highly value. I’m very grateful for Capital Storytelling offering this course, and I look forward to continuing this transformational storytelling journey with them.
