Celebrating The Mother: A storytelling workshop for first and second generation immigrants
November 15 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Connection to the natural world is celebrated across cultures, and storytelling is the most naturally human thing we do. In this 90 min workshop, we will define moments in our lives when we felt connected to the land – whether it is this land or the lands of our ancestors. We’ll reflect individually on our own stories and then share with others in a small group (for those who choose to do so!). Together, we’ll celebrate what it means to be people on this planet.
No prior experience is needed. Come join us in a safe, compassionate space to reflect on your own lived experiences and and discover stories from your own life.
