Storytelling is the heart of who we are as humans. It connects us and gives meaning to the events in our lives. In this 3-week workshop, participants will be guided through activities to help them discover and reflect on the stories in their lives and give them practice sharing those stories in a safe and supportive space. In week 1, you will be guided through reflective activities to uncover the often hidden but uniquely “you” stories from your past and then you will be guided in how to shape those stories. In weeks 2 and 3, you will have the opportunity to tell your stories in front of the small group to get compassionate and supportive feedback and to build confidence, oral narrative skills, and public speaking skills.
