Lisa is a psychologist, professor at Sacramento State University, and the founder of Capital Storytelling. She holds a doctorate in Psychology and has a background in print and radio journalism— having written and produced stories for KQED and KALW in San Francisco as well as for her own podcast An InExact Science, and she is the founding story consultant at Stories of Science. Her heart is in teaching people how to tell their own true stories. She trains educators, physicians, researchers, and activists to use storytelling to communicate and transform themselves and their communities.
