Gina Waota
Story Ambassador 2026
Gina Waota is an entrepreneur, immigrant, wife, mother of two, and an artist in the making. Born in Haiti and now living in Atlanta, she believes every person carries a story worth telling. After building a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant and business advisor, she has come to realize that while numbers reveal one kind of truth, our stories reveal the truths that connect us to our soul.
A lifelong learner with an endless curiosity about life and the human experience, Gina finds joy in long walks, hiking, yoga, meaningful conversations, and getting lost in a good book. She also believes life is simply better when you eat ice cream and French fries together.
As a Storytelling Ambassador, Gina hopes to create welcoming spaces where women, especially immigrants and entrepreneurs, discover the courage to tell their stories. She has come to believe that too many women dismiss their experiences as ordinary, when in fact they hold extraordinary stories of faith, hope, and love.
Through storytelling, Gina hopes women will come to see that they are already accomplished and worthy. Not because of titles, achievements, or success in the traditional sense, but because of the lives they have lived, the challenges they have overcome, and the wisdom they have gained along the way
She believes storytelling changes everyone it touches. It changes the storyteller. It changes the listener. A single story can transform how we see an entire community. That is the quiet power of storytelling.
