Coralia Alvarado Lopez is a first-generation Salvadoran immigrant, poet, and storyteller. Through her poetry and stories, she hopes to remind us that we are all more connected than we think. Her voice was once silenced, but she has come to know the power of being heard, and she brings that voice, fully, to every story and poem she recites. She is working on her debut poetry book, Raíces y Ausencia, to honor her immigrant roots. When she is not writing or performing, you can find her getting lost in music, coloring, or reading. She also enjoys being outdoors, bike riding or roller blading with her family chasing a little fresh air and freedom.
