Cecilia is a sensitive soul and a dedicated dog mom. When she isn’t giving art lessons to her niblings or checking out a local open mic, she’s fostering connection among strangers with her storytelling podcast Modern Day Mirror. Easily excitable and endlessly curious, Cecilia is passionate about curating memorable, inclusive, community-centered spaces for storytelling. Her writing and stories often reflect her lived experiences as a(n): eldest daughter; Air Force veteran; childless cisgender woman; intuitive spiritual seeker; and Mexican American journeying to reclaim her Indigenous roots.
