This is an intensive 2-day, in-person workshop. The workshop is intended to give you a introduction to the world of oral storytelling. On day 1 you learn about storytelling and basic elements of compelling narratives, doing reflective activities and guided exercises. On day 2, participants will practice sharing their stories and getting constructive feedback to help them further develop their narratives. Find your unique voice, style, and meaning in this safe, fun, and compassionate space.
This class is intended for anyone who is interested in learning the basics to storytelling and getting supportive instruction in a small class setting. But not only will you learn about storytelling, you’ll walk away transformed with a new perspective on the world. The class has been called “life–changing“… and for good reason. Come see what it’s all about.
The class will be held on the campus of Sacramento State University. Once you enroll, we will send you detailed instructions on the class location with a map to help you get there!
