JUNE 11th @ 6-7 PM PDT via Zoom
Great storytellers are also great listeners. We are drawn to storytelling because we have something to say and want to feel seen, valued, and heard. Actively listening to others’ stories builds empathy, drives connection, and fosters an awareness of how an audience receives your story. This workshop will develop your listening skills and show you how to use them to transform your storytelling with authenticity, confidence, and insight into what an audience responds to while listening to a story. The tips and skills in this workshop will also help you become a more effective listener in all areas of your life.
“Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force. The friends who listen to us are the ones we move toward. When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.” –Karl A. Menniger
