Join us for our monthly true story open mic event hosted in-person at Strapping Store in Sacramento (1715 R Street Unit 150). The open mic event is held on the last Saturday of each month in the courtyard outside of Strapping Store Ice Blocks location. The event is intended to forefront Queer and Trans voices, but everyone is welcome to attend and share their stories regardless of orientation and identity in this safe inclusive space. If you want to share a story, arrive 15 mins early and put your name in the hat. The host will draw 5 names from that hat before the start of the event to select storytellers, lottery style. Storytellers have 10 mins to share their story!
This event is FREE and open to the public.

Rules of the event:
- Stories should be true, preferably told without notes!
- Stories should be 5-10 mins long
- This is a compassionate safe space; we do not allow racist, sexist, ablest, homophobic or transphobic language or any language that marginalizes an individual or community based on their identity or beliefs.
