DESCRIPTION:Last Saturday of each month @ 7 PM PT (unless holidays interfere!) \nStrapping Store Ice Blocks Location\n1715 R Street Unit 150\nSacramento\, CA \nJoin us for our monthly true story open mic event hosted in-person at Strapping Store in Sacramento (1715 R Street Unit 150). The open mic event is held on the last Saturday of each month in the courtyard outside of Strapping Store Ice Blocks location. The event is intended to forefront Queer and Trans voices\, but everyone is welcome to attend and share their stories regardless of orientation and identity in this safe inclusive space. If you want to share a story\, arrive 15 mins early and put your name in the hat. The host will draw 5 names from that hat before the start of the event to select storytellers\, lottery style. Storytellers have 10 mins to share their story! \nThis event is FREE and open to the public. \nCome share a story or come and listen! If you need accommodations for this event\, please email us at capitalstorytelling@gmail.com and we will do everything possible to make this event accessible to you. \nRules of the event: \n\nStories should be true\, preferably told without notes!\nStories should be 5-10 mins long\nThis is a compassionate safe space; we do not allow racist\, sexist\, ablest\, homophobic or transphobic language or any language that marginalizes an individual or community based on their identity or beliefs.\nTo sign up\, arrive 15 mins early.
