Truman was born and raised in Colorado but he’s spent 40+ years in other places…mostly in Kenya where he has conducted research for decades on wildlife and in northern California where he was a professor of ecology at the University of California Davis. He recently “retired” and has come full circle– back to Colorado where he and his wife now live. He is an avid storyteller and has used stories over his lifetime to transport his students, family, and community members to other spaces and times.
